Some time ago, I have started making my own DJ mixer with USB connection. Since I like Traktor DJ more than Ableton Live!, I have chosen this software, because of great flexibility and ease of use. Many of computers today don’t have MIDI port, even if the sound card is integrated. I have chosen making USB to MIDI adapter to try PIC4550 microcontroller USB capabilities. Here is the schematic:
